Women's Wear
I have experience in creating a range of women's clothing from mini skirts and shorts to playsuits and pajamas. In a wide range of materials from corduroy to silk. Some have been made using purchased patterns, others have been created using my own patterns which I have flat or stand drafted.
A bardot top created using an existing top as reference, with a mini skirt made from a pair of jeans.
A tie front and open back top, created by adapting the top from the kimono overshirt. I modified the sleeves to create more flare, and adjusted the fitting of the front.
A halter neck dress, were the top was draped on the stand. The back is open, and the neckline runs on a cord, fastened with a roule loop and button. Skirt is a simple a-line with added flare.
Mini skirt created from an old pair of skinny jeans, and a corset style top created using the legs left over from several of these mini skirt transformations, with eyelets and lace up back.
Made from a medium heavy weight one way stretch fabric, with pleats and darts to shape, and turn up details, pattern matched pockets. Self drafted pattern, same as used on the cream tartan shorts.
A floor length, low back, halter neck evening gown, made of baby blue organza and lining fabrics. It has an internal structure of boning and built in cups, with the bodice cut on the bias. Self drafted pattern.

A dress I originally made from a pattern in sixth form, I took apart and remade, with overlocked seams, fitted bodice, shorter hem and halterneck strap.
A mini skirt made of six petals of faux suede, interfacing and lining. The hem, seam edges and button holes have been finished by melting with a soldering iron.

I created this lace up back dress from an oversized linen type dress. The bodice was created by draping on the stand and the full skirt was used and put onto an elasticated waist.
